So here is my latest page I did last night. This is my favorite picture of Jacob, it actaully a pic of him in the bathtub. =) I have another from that same day I want to do into a page like this as well when I get some time to cut it out. Anyways this page was done with the kit "Colors of your Birthday" by Lily Designs. You can find it here: http://www.afterfivedesigns.com/shoppe/product.php?productid=904&cat=0&page=1

I am hoping to get some free time tonight to get a few pages done, we will see how that goes! Have a great evening!

Wow, shocked....

So earlier this week I recieved a message from a designer. Well as you can imagine, for those of you who know me, I thought ..... "Oh crap, what did I not credit right, did I do something wrong?" Yeah I know, the pesimist in me. haha

Anyway, she indicated that she loved my gallery and asked me to join her team. I was shocked, flabbergasted and flattered of course. So I agreed after looking at her work. It is very whimsical and fun. Soooo I agreed and joined her team. I started today and did two LOs for her. I can't wait to post them next week ;)

Anyways that is my fun tidbit for the day. Have a good one and see you tomorrow!

Busy Week

This week has been super busy, I only managed to get one page done, which is a converted siggy to page as well. I am trying to convert my favs to pages first to get them done. It helps when I have no mojo but what to do something! :) I also did some pages for Mika Designs as well, I will be able to post those soon ;)

I also made the decision to stop siggy making for the time being. I am going for it! I am going to start designing. So I am trying to learn all I can. I bought supplies for a light box this weekend, my husband is going to make it for me as he would love one too for things. Hopefully soon you will see a kit or some freebies here. Anyways, I am off to watch Pacific (an HBO series) with my husband. Enjoy your week all!

Here is another siggy to scrap page I have done this weekend. this was one of my favorite siggys I have made so I have to convert it to a page for the kids book. This is made with Lori Davison's Greymouse Manor Winter Ball kit, which is one of my favs. It is full of great stuff, soft colors, very pretty. You can find it here: http://shop.scrapbookgraphics.com/product.php?productid=27378&cat=0&page=1

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Jacob in Blue

I had some photos of Jacob I wanted to use, I love these pics, they very well be some of my favorites of him. So I went through my kits, for some reason I just couldn't find a boyish kit that went with the pics and didn't distract. Here is what I came up with. The mini- kit is by Kristen Rice called Blue Moon. You can find it here.... http://www.afterfivedesigns.com/shoppe/product.php?productid=1372&cat=2&page=1

I hope you enjoy the page of my lil boy. I am really really happy with how simple it is and but accents his pretty eyes. Hopefully I can get a handful more pages done this weekend I am in the mood to do some if the kids allow it!

More pages with Before the First Snow

I adjusted some other signature work I had done into a page tonight. This is one of my favorites that I have done.

This one I used "Bunnies, Bees and The Big Bird's Ballon" http://shop.scrapbookgraphics.com/product.php?productid=24106&cat=0&page=1as
The mask is by TMF Scraps. http://tmfscraps.blogspot.com/

Wait for me sissy!

I just finished a new page "Wait for me sissy" for my two little ones today on my lunch hour. I used Lorie Davison's kit Before the First Snow, which I love. It is jam packed full of goodies and is very unique which suits my style just fine. You can find her kit here: http://shop.scrapbookgraphics.com/product.php?productid=26641&cat=0&page=1

I am hoping to get another page or two done tonight, but we will see how that goes.

Getting started...

What a daunting task this seems to be for me. I am slowly, and I do mean slowly trying to get things together to start apply for CT calls for digital scrapbooking designers. I have been doing the scrapbook side since July of '09 and love it so much I want to branch out a bit.

I am not ready to design yet, I have too much on my plate with working full time outside the home + my husband as well as my two little ones. (those are not in the order of importance btw hehe). I am hoping by getting this blog set up it will motivate me to start posting some of my pages and giving shout outs to the designers I love.

Sooooo a little about me...I am a Network Administrator (aka computer geek) by need not passion. It pays the bills and I can't really add anymore to that about my occupation. It isn't my love, not at all, but if it provides a stable life for my kids I will take it........for now. I hope someday to own my own business and be able to work from home. My hope is to have a photography business with my husband as he enjoys it as well. We have different styles so it may turn out to be a nicely rounded business if we can make a go of it. He loves more nature photography, while I enjoy the portrait / candid side.

Anyway, that is a little about me for now. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you again soon!
